Flower Mound High School’s football team put up 690 yards of offense while beating McKinney Boyd 44-36 at Ron Poe Stadium on Friday night.
The Broncos got 120 rushing yards and 147 passing yards from Curtis Ladd, putting up more than 300 yards of offense themselves. But it wasn’t enough to overcome Flower Mound’s potent offense.
For Flower Mound, Marshall Wiliams passed for 437 yards and four touchdowns; while Connor Ashley ran for 200 yards and two touchdowns.
Boyd’s Bryan Driskell scored on a 96-yard kickoff return and two 4-yard runs.
The Broncos (1-1) will play McKinney High (0-2) at Ron Poe Stadium next Friday, Sept. 9.
