EMORY —McKinney North’s playoff march continues.
Julion Pearre scored 16 points in the fourth quarter Friday night at Emory Rains High School as the Bulldogs won their 22nd game of the year, 55-45, over Jackonville in the Area Round of the UIL’s 4A playoffs.
It was only the second loss of the season for Jacksonville, the regular season District 16-4A champion, wich ended its season with a 33-2 mark.
North improved its record to 22-11 going into next week’s Regional Quarterfinals. The Bulldogs will play the winner of the Sherman-Mansfield Legacy game that took place Friday night at The Colony. The Regional Quarterfinal games are slotted for either Monday or Tuesday.
