McKinney Boyd defensive lineman Jamal Palmer is among the Area Top 100, a list of top senior football players being recruited published by The Dallas Morning News.
Palmer, listed at 6 foot 2, 230 pounds, has verbally committed to sign with Baylor.
Although Palmer is the only MISD player on the list, several other Collin County players made the list as well:
-Allen quarterback Alec Morris, who committed last week to Alabama, switching from a previous commitment to Wake Forest when Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban made him an ofer.
-Allen running back Jonathan Williams, who is committed to Missouri.
-Wylie offensive lineman Kyle Fuller, who is uncommitted.
-Celina offensive lineman Jordan Roos, who is uncommitted.
-Plano West defensive lineman Bryce Cottrell, who is uncommitted.
-Wylie defensive lineman Noble Nwachukwu, who is committed to West Virginia.
-Wylie defensive lineman Azuka Akozar, who is uncommitted.
-Allen linebacker Thaddeus LaGrone, who is committed to Baylor.
-Wylie defensive back Terrell Burt, who is committed to Baylor.
