With the Holiday season rapidly approaching, festivities will also be commencing. And nothing says Happy Holidays like a few classic makeup looks. A red lip, a smoky eye and winged liner. To start this season off right, I’m showing you how to execute the looks and what products to use. Let’s get started!
Then using the flat brush, apply lip primer. This is essential because lip primer helps the color to last all day.
Next, line and fill in your lips with a red lip pencil. This helps the lip color stay on even more and stops the lipstick from “feathering”.
Again, with the flat brush, blend your lipstick on top of your liner. Using a flat brush allows precise and clean lines.
Once you have your lipstick on, take a Q-tip and dip it into some concealer. This can mask any messy edges.
Finally, you can finish your look with some gloss or leave it matte.
Tips: When applying the lip liner, blend on the outside of the lip. This helps prevent feathering and stops the lip color from “bleeding”.
If you dust loose powder on top of your lip color, your color won’t transfer to your cup if you’re drinking..or smudge after finding yourself under the mistletoe.
