The McKinney High boys basketball team split the final two games of the Waco Midway Tournament Saturday, defeating Belton 58-46 and falling to Waco Midway 78-65. McKinney will travel to Prosper to take on the Eagles Monday at 3:30 p.m.
The Lionettes ended a successful weekend with a split in the final two games, taking down HSAA (Home School Athletic Association) 55-43, but losing to Frisco Liberty 47-44. The Lionettes will return to the hardwood Jan. 3 when they travel to take on Plano High School.
McKinney Boyd, coming off a loss, will travel to take on Wylie Tuesday before returning to Boyd Jan. 3 to face Hebron.
The Lady Broncos would also drop the final game of the Sherman Holiday Invitational, falling to District 10-5A rival Plano 55-43. Boyd will play at Plano West Jan. 3 to kick-0ff 10-5A action.
The Bulldogs’ skid hit two straight as the North boys basketball team fell to Madison 67-52 in the Dallas ISD Coca Cola Tournament Saturday. North will continue 13-4A action Jan. 3 when it hosts Greenville at 8 p.m.
