Artist Depicts American Hero, McKinney’s Bill Bryan

Nationally renown artist, Colin Kimball, known for painting portraits of American heroes, has just finished a portrait of 1966 McKinney High graduate Bill Bryan. It is a depiction of a true American hero.

Cpl. Charles W. “Bill” Bryan, USMC, Killed in Action on Hill 881 South, near Khe Sanh, South Vietnam, 20 January, 1968, Posthumously awarded the Navy Cross (second only to the Medal of Honor) for heroism.
