Basil grapefruit, Franconia Dunkel, chai latte, bourbon vanilla bean and buttermilk chocolate. Homemade Ice Cream, burgers, hot dogs, and sausage, as well as some pretty exotic ice cream flavors that were produced by this year’s crankers. Amusement rides and free activities for kids were all part of this year’s festival.

After festival goers sampled the ice cream prepared by crankers, the basil grapefruit sorbet, made by Gina Ingrahann, was declared the “People’s Choice” winner. Judges chose the chai latte by Laura Duckworth to be the Best Overall winner, which will be the flavor that will be made and sold through Market Street, Local Yocal, and The Pantry Restaurant this summer.
