Updated: Shortly after 7 p.m. the Texas Department of Public Safety discontinued an Amber Alert for a McKinney infant and said the child had been found near the Mexico boarder.
The McKinney Police Department said Isabella Reyes, a 10-month-old female, was recovered near the US/Mexico border in the Laredo, Texas.
McKinney Police say they were dispatched to 713 S. Railroad Street shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a missing child.
Reyes was taken by her biological mother, 24-year-old Sandi Alcocer. Alcocer (pictured at left) is 5 feet tall and weighs 130.
Custody of the child was recently given to a another family member and Child Protective Services believes the child to be in danger.
Sandi was believed to have left the McKinney area between 9 and 11 a.m. Tuesday morning. She was reported to be traveling with an unknown Hispanic male in a 2003 white Dodge Dakota. The vehicle was pulling a black trailer with a blue cover. Sandi and the male subject were believed to be heading for the US/Mexico border.
