On behalf of BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas and its Board of Directors, we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the McKinney Lacrosse Club for this past weekend’s fantastic McKinney LaxFest event supporting BRIDGE Lacrosse.
The raising of over $7,500 to support the introduction and growth of lacrosse through after school programs in the South and West Dallas areas is a wonderful testament to the caring people of the club, and a very positive reflection on the entire city McKinney. There’s no better way to understand the impact of your efforts than to watch the youth of St. Philip’s School & Community Center, Irma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School and the Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy on the field of play competing, while developing teamwork and leadership skills right in front of our eyes.
Thank you to the McKinney Lacrosse Club Board, led by Jeff Santos, for its leadership and continued support of BRIDGE. Thank you to the many club volunteers, without which we could not stage such a multifaceted event – we hope to have even greater participation next year as the event grows. A very special thank you to Drue Carney, who once again demonstrated his masterful creativity, planning and event management skills, along with superior adaptability. We are indebted to everyone for the magnificent efforts and proud to be part of such a great partnership.

Thank you again, McKinney Lacrosse! What a wonderful way to wrap up the season and provide opportunity for those that need and are sure to make the most of it.
All the Best,
