The United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church in The Colony, located at 4901 Paige Road, will host its 23rd Annual Harvest Craft Bazaar on Saturday, October 15. The event includes over 70 retail and handmade craft vendors including crochet and knitted items, holiday decorations, wood art, jewelry, and stained glass. As expected the Women will be selling their famous baked goods “at very affordable prices”, says Pat Ellis, event chair. The Men will be selling breakfast and lunch. Opportunity drawings are held throughout the day, so get here early to purchase tickets.
The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The bazaar supports local missions such as our church Food Pantry, Kids Eat Free, Vacation Bible School, and New Hope Day Care as well as community missions including Methodist Children’s Home in Waco, Wesley Rankin Community Center, The Dallas Bethlehem Center, and Smile Train.
This event is “the best way to get to know your neighbors or visit friends, and maybe find a needed helping hand or provide a helping hand to others through our many services and missions”, says Ellis, explaining that the wide variety of items combined with the friendly atmosphere attract people to the bazaar.
