Over the years, marketing has evolved from paper flyers and word of mouth, reaching one person at a time, to e-mail marketing and social media reaching millions of people in seconds. In order to keep up with the constant changes, business owners must continuously educate themselves on new marketing approaches.
Did you know that almost 40 percent of small business owners do not have a website (James Guess, James Bird Guess International Success Academy)? Given the face-paced world in which we live, this seems almost impossible. Soon more people will use their smart phones to find information than laptops and personal computers.
The McKinney Chamber of Commerce will provide insights and education at the Marketing Boot Camp event on Thursday, November 29th. The seminar will be held at the Collin Higher Education Center from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Four marketing experts will provide attendees valuable information in the areas of social marketing, mobile media, e-mail marketing, branding and messaging.
