17-year-old Jailed After Resisting Arrest on Ridge Road

By TSB Staff

Police arrested a 17-year-old male and charged him with resisting arrest, search and transportation earlier this week after he tried to get into Dowell Middle School to get his sister just before noon Monday.

The 5-9, 180-pound white male – with blue eyes, brown hair and a scar on his elbow – violated his Texas Juvenile Justice parole.

The incident happened in the 300 block of South Ridge Road in the heart of Stonebridge.

While resisting police, the runner attempted to injure himself. He is being held at the Collin County Detention Center with bail set for $2,500. He is charged with a felony for the parole violation and a misdemeanor for attempting to escape.

Because he is a juvenile, TownSquareBuzz has refrained from publishing his name.
